Meet Endangered Zoo Animals in Singapore

Due to reckless hunting and destroying of the habitat, wildlife animals are facing serious extinction. These poor creatures are unable to go anywhere as their own home was destroyed to make homes for the humans, where they cannot live for long. Moreover the humans also do not like to be interfered by the animals and kill the ones who try to enter their cities or towns. All these activities have collectively affected the wildlife species making some of them to be endangered and about to be extinct. Wildlife conservation activists from all around the world are trying to spread word about the conservation of the animals but it all goes in vain if the people do not try to understand the core importance of the wildlife conservation. Animals live in the forest and forest contains one of the largest reserves of energy, wood, and essential resources for the development of the human beings.
These forests also play an important role in the climate control and in the management of the biosphere on earth. In case the forests are in threat due to reckless logging, it will wipe out the forests in a short span of time posing threat on the climate on earth. We all know that trees can take several decades to grow and forests contain some of the oldest trees found on the planet earth. Loggers do not take much time to cut them down without understanding its importance to the forest and to the earth. Trees hold the soil in the forest which helps in protecting the essential top soil from being eroded due to rain and floods. This top soil is important for the growth of the trees, plants and even crops. Moreover trees keep the ground water table in stable condition, avoiding evaporation and wastage of the fresh water.
In case the forest will be wiped out from the face of the earth the animals will be in danger of being endangered. Governments are trying to protect these endangered animals from getting killed by the hunters. They are forming national parks, wildlife parks and bird parks, but all these wildlife parks are unable to spread word in the masses about their conservation. Protecting the animals is not the sole responsibility of the government but the people as well. In order to encourage people to be a part of the conservation program, Singapore zoo has exhibited some of the endangered animals, thus providing people a chance to be familiar with endangered animals and protect them. There are several theme based wildlife park located in the Singapore zoo. You can visit any of them to see endangered fishes, birds and wild animals from different parts of the world.
